Pamela & Michael Hudson

(formerly with JLife Africa - now independent)

Pamela & Michael are currently based in Kigali, Rwanda and are serving with HOPEthiopia/Rwanda. This ministry works with at-risk women through a 10-month tailoring program which focuses on teaching tailoring skills, but even more so, helping women discover their identity and value in Christ, and walk in dignity as participants in building a sustainable Rwanda. HOPE also works with men who have come through a govt rehabilitation program for substance abuse and street crime. In the men's program, we help the men obtain jobs, and focus on their personal development and identity in Christ. Lastly, HOPE supports 130+ students in nursery age through university. Education is a key factor in moving a family from poverty to a sustainable lifestyle, so education is highly valued and an important investment for the future of the nation. Michael focuses his time on one-to-one relationships with the HOPE men, and with young men in the Kigali marketplace. Pamela focuses her time on helping HOPE improve some of their organizational systems to free up staff time for relationships.
